Prose 'n Poetry Corner

Each month I will look through my notebooks and find a little bit of prose 'n poetry. Often written in a few minutes, so please don't expect Wordsworth, but hopefully these entries will provide a little interlude in your day. A chance to think and ponder, to daydream or to visualize, to perhaps see things in a different light.

Please see what you think and let me know if it is useful or not - highlights some valuable points but in a lighter vein . . .

Why are some so slow
Stop, hang about and not go
The path ahead is direct and easy
This stop start mentality just makes me queasy

Are we patient enough to wait
If we do so in what state
Do we find ourselves then in
Will our mind please slow down within
For that is what really irks us so
We can otherwise handle our life's to and fro

We tend to rush around
Not give ourselves the chance to stand our ground
None of us likes to be late
We all would like to wipe our slate
Clean - for it is against our nature
To sit and diminish ourselves, our stature

Everything, all different shapes and sizes

Is it up to us to accept all that arises?
